As you inch closer to wedding day, you may be thinking about how to thank your wedding vendors. Here’s our roundup of our favorites! Feel free to do one or all of these. Saying thank you is always such a nice and appreciated touch for the team that made your special day happen.
1. Tip them

Tipping your wedding vendors on top of their standard fees is always a thoughtful gesture. When it comes to how much, asking your planner or the vendor themselves is a great start! Our Salud planners often guide our couples on what is appropriate and at what time to distribute the tip. Pro tip: If you choose to tip in cash, organize your tips in envelopes before wedding day!
2. Offer to be a reference for future clients

After your wedding, offer to be a reference for any future clients that come their way. The wedding industry relies on referrals, so it’s an extremely kind gesture to offer yourself up to be contacted if anyone wants to hear about your experiences. This can often help businesses sign on clients even more than the online reviews they already have!
3. A handwritten note

Never underestimate the power of a handwritten note to thank your wedding vendors. Handwritten thank you cards are such a personal touch these days as most people will text or send an email. Take a few minutes to write a note expressing your gratitude for making your day so special. It’s likely these notes will be cherished for years to come!
4. Send a thoughtful gift

Gifts don’t have to be expensive to be appreciated. As you get to know your vendors, maybe ask them what their favorite restaurant, coffee shop, or type of wine is. Send a gift card, a bottle of wine, or even a coffee mug with a $10 gift card inside. Think of those little things they find joy in everyday and surprise them with a thoughtful gift.
5. Share as much as you can

Share their name and their work as much as you can! If you’re posting on social media, tag them. Talking to friends planning their wedding? Mention your favorite vendors and why you loved having them at your wedding. If you’re writing a review, make sure you go into detail about your really positive experiences.
