- Virtual kickoff meeting with planner: Meet your wedding planner over video chat to get things started! Your planner will show you how you’ll work together using your planning portal, discuss what you’ve accomplished so far, and ask how he/she can start helping you.
- Customized recommendations on when to hire a professional vs. DIY: Based on your budget, your wedding planner can give you professional opinions on how to make your budget work for you by recommending where to hire a vendor vs. where it makes sense to go the do-it-yourself route.
- Unlimited advice via email: Your wedding planner is never more than one email away. Planning a wedding is full of details so we’ll never limit you on the number of questions you can ask your planner.
- Access to your own planning portal: You and your wedding planner will share a digital collaborative workspace where you can work on all the details of your wedding in one place!
- Vendor recommendations based on budget and style: Your wedding planner can give you a list of vendors that fit both your budget and style. In most cases, our wedding planners have worked with the vendors they are suggesting so you know they are reputable.
- Personalized wedding checklist: After you share more about your wedding, your wedding planner will create a detailed custom checklist of all the tasks you will need to complete before wedding day.
- 30 minute check in meeting every other month: It’s important to stay on track during the planning process, so having a 30 minute meeting once a month with your wedding planner will be helpful to provide updates on anything you’ve been having a hard time with, or sharing new things you’ve recently accomplished and discussing what’s next.
- Planner’s meeting notes + next step recommendations: After each meeting, your planner will share a set of notes with you that outline exactly what was discussed during the meeting, noting any decisions that were made, and outlining suggested next steps and to-do’s.
- Day of timeline review: A day of timeline will help you, your guests, and your vendors stay informed of how wedding day will flow. Once you create a draft of your timeline, your wedding planner can review it and point out anything you may want to edit.
- Salud transition packet: This is a packet of information prepared by your wedding planner to give to whoever is coordinating your event for a seamless transition before wedding day. This feature is only available to couples who have been with Salud for 3 months or longer.
- Budget workshop: Your wedding planner has the best idea of costs in your area. He/she will walk you through your budget line by line and help set you up for success by explaining how to budget for expected costs, and point out where you may be able to save some money.
- Contract review: Reading contracts can be confusing. Once you’ve decided on a vendor, your wedding planner will read over your contract and send you a list of suggestions about what to negotiate, ask questions about, or omit. Limit of one contract review per vendor category.
- Virtual venue walkthrough: Once you’ve decided on your venue, you can FaceTime your wedding planner to help you visualize the space and start planning out the flow of the day.
- Floorplan assistance: Once you receive your floorplan diagrams from your venue, your planner can help you figure out details like what size tables would work best, how many people to a table, where to place the dance floor, what size dance floor you’ll need, and where to place the bars, for example.
Can I upgrade or edit my own membership?
By navigating to "Manage my subscriptions" in your account profile, you may select to upgrade your membership. Clicking "Change plans" will show you the various options that Salud offers so that you can choose which new plan is best for you!
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you’re never locked into a long term contract with Salud so you have the ability to cancel whenever you'd like. Couples tell us they find the most value by working with their wedding planner long term though as planning a wedding is full of little details.
Can I hire my wedding planner through Salud to oversee my wedding day?
While you can't hire your planner to be your coordinator through us, many couples will ask their Salud wedding planner for coordination packages they offer through their own wedding planning company and work together that way.
I have a venue coordinator, a wedding planner that came with my venue, or a family member/friend helping me plan. Should I still get a subscription to Salud?
A venue coordinator or a planner that comes with your venue is working for the venue, not you, so they may not be able to help with every aspect of planning. A family member or friend can be helpful, but most people only plan one wedding in their lives, which is why wedding planners are so special - they've been through it multiple times. Wedding planners can offer helpful advice, but they can also be an objective third party when it comes time to make difficult decisions or navigate family dynamics.
What cities is Salud available in?
Subscriptions are currently available for all weddings in the US!
How is a Salud membership different than hiring a full service wedding planner?
Typically, when you hire a full service wedding planner you sign a long term contract and the total cost varies based on location, but couples have told us they've received quotes anywhere from $5,000 - $35,000+ this year. Working with a wedding planner is worth its weight in GOLD, but it's not always the right financial decision if you are left feeling like you can't afford to hire any other vendors.
Through Salud, instead of signing a long term contract, you sign up for a month-to-month membership where you can upgrade, downgrade, or pause at any time. With all our memberships, you get access to your own Salud planning portal, and a wedding planner of your choice who you communicate with via email and video who will be your point of contact for the entire time you're with us. Pricing varies based on which package you choose, but our Basic membership starts at less than $3/day!
